These photographs come from an exploration residency in the USA in May 2023 initiated by Villa Albertine. With the choreographer Amala Dianor, I left for a month in Chicago, Atlanta and Los Angeles, to meet a new generation that appropriates the codes of hip hop dances and transposes contemporary social tensions to build its own choreographic identity.
