(Close My familiar dream)
2017 

In 2017, I started an epistolary correspondence
with people incarcerated in France, initiated
with this simple question: "What do you dream about
?”. I received close to 150 letters in
which the prisoners tell of dreams,
nightmares, desires, hopes.
I then proposed to anonymous people, who
volunteered through a published announcement
on social networks, to read aloud
in front of a camera some of the dreams collected.
These anonymous people don’t know anything about the dreamers.
They don’t know the reason of their sentence,
nor the length of the sentence. They are invited
to be the voices of an abandoned word
that they discover at the same time
as the viewer of the film.
